The spring/summer 2010 ready-to-wear shows were all about bold statement colours. The brightest of yellows, oranges, pinks and blues, along with eclectic prints gave a clear indication that next summer will be all about serious colour. I'm adoring the cumquat orange. It's such a nice variant of the typical bright orange and is much kinder to those with fairer skin.
Monique Lhuillier's gowns were typically glamorous. Silk Jersey's mixed with rouching, tiers, embroidery and delicate shoulder details were perfectly fitting for a super feminine spring/summer collection.
Luca Luca made bright colours the focus of her collection. Her cocktail dresses were super flirty and fun... perfect for a relaxed summer wedding or hip engagement party.
BCBG Max Azria showed off the coolest prints and cutest embellishments. It would seem flowy hems are going to be the in thing!
